Parking Reservation Service Terms of Use

Chapter 1 General Provisions
(Purpose) Article 1 The purpose of these Terms of Use is to stipulate the necessary matters for use of the parking reservation service provided by Tokyo International Air Terminal Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Manager"). 2. The parking reservation service is an online service for advance reservation of parking spaces in the Tokyo International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes administered by the Manager. (Consent Required) Article 2 The person using the parking reservation service (hereinafter referred to as "the User") does so having consented to the Tokyo International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes Parking Reservation Service Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") stipulated by the Manager. 2. To use the parking reservation service, the User must consent to these Terms and complete member registration. (Types of Parking) Article 3 There are three types of parking for which reservations can be made: private compartment parking, general parking, and disabled parking. (Revision of Terms of Use) Article 4 The Manager may revise these Terms without any prior notice. Revisions to these Terms come into effect when they are posted on the Tokyo International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes Parking Reservation Service website.   (Application of the Tokyo International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes Rules and Regulations) Article 5 Regarding use of the parking reservation service, the Tokyo International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes Rules and Regulations shall apply for matters not stipulated in these Terms.
Chapter 2 Use
(Vehicles for Which Reservations can be Made) Article 6 Normal vehicles are the only vehicles for which reservations can be made. Reservations cannot be made for the following vehicles: (1) Vehicles exceeding 2.3 meters in height (including cargo and accessories), 2.1 meters in width and 5.7 meters in length; (2) Vehicles carrying hazardous materials or insanitary materials; (3) Vehicles that may impede the management of the multistory portions of the parking lot; and (4) Rental Vehicles. 2. Disabled parking reservations can be made for vehicles provided that the person who has the relevant physical or mental disability certificate, war injury and illness certificate, or equivalent certificate is riding in the vehicle and the vehicle displays a "Parking Exception" permit or the Manager's approval is obtained. (Member Registration) Article 7 By completing member registration, the User is qualified to use the parking reservation service. For member registration, the User must register the license plate number of the vehicle owned by the User that will be parked in the International Airport Parking Lot for International Routes. Hereinafter a User who has completed member registration will be referred to as "the Member." 2. Use of this parking reservation service is only available to vehicles which are registered at the time of member registration.   (Management of Registered License Plate Number and Password) Article 8 The Member shall assume the responsibility for managing the license plate number and password that they have registered. 2. The Member must not loan, transfer, or sell their member registration, or allow it to be used by a third party. 3. The Member shall assume the responsibility for damages resulting from improper use of their password or membership information, including use by a third party, etc. The Manager assumes no responsibility for such damages. 4. In the case that the Member's password is stolen and at risk of being used by a third party or is being used by a third party, the Member shall inform the Manager as soon as they become aware of this and obey any instructions given by the Manager thereafter.   (Cancellation of Membership) Article 9 Members who wish to cancel their membership can do so by completing the membership cancellation procedures available on the website. 2. Membership shall be automatically cancelled if three years elapses with no use since the Member's most recent use of this parking reservation service. (Parking Reservations) Article 10 Parking reservations shall be made only when the Member uses the airport for the purpose of overseas travel and is certain that they will use the parking lot. 2. Parking reservations shall only be made within the 30 day period from the day following the reservation day and the Member may make up to 3 reservations. 3. Reservations may be made for a period of 2 to 20 days from the start to the end of use. Reservations may not be available if there are no vacancies in the requested reservation period, or if the requested reservation period directly follows or overlaps a period for which reservations have already been completed. 4. If it is necessary to change or cancel a reservation, the Member shall complete the procedures to change or cancel the reservation by the day before the first day of use. Reservations cannot be cancelled or changed on the day of use. Reservations cannot be made, changed, or cancelled via telephone. 5. After the reservation is completed, a notice stating that the reservation has been completed will be sent via e-mail to the Member. (Changes to Member Information) Article 11 If the registered member information has changed, the Member shall complete the procedures to change their information available on the website. However, the registered license plate number cannot be changed. To change the registered license plate number, the Member must complete the cancellation procedures and complete a new member registration. 2. If any of the information provided during member registration application changes, the Member shall change their member registration information accordingly. The Manager accepts no responsibility for any damages to the Member or another person caused by a failure to update their information. (How to Use the Parking Lot) Article 12 The User shall use the reservation parking lot in accordance with the following process. 1. Private compartment and general parking reservations (1) The User shall receive the reservation parking ticket at the reservation parking entrance gate. After receiving the ticket, the User shall proceed through the second gate and into the parking lot. A staff member shall then show the User to the relevant parking space, and the User shall follow the instructions given by the staff member and park his or her car accordingly. (2) The User shall receive a reservation parking ticket even if he or she enters through the general entrance. In that case, after entering the parking lot, the User should call a staff member using the intercom located at the 1F reservation area entrance gate. A staff member will open the reservation area gate by remote control. The User shall then follow the instructions given by the staff member. (3) Parking fees shall be paid at the pre-payment machine or at the 1F exit gate. 2. Disabled parking reservations (1) The User shall present his or her physical disability certificate or other applicable certificate at the reservation parking entrance gate. After confirmation from a staff member, the User will receive the disabled reservation parking ticket and enter the parking lot. (2) The User shall call a staff member using the intercom located at the 3F disabled parking reservation area entrance gate. A staff member will open the disabled parking reservation area gate by remote control. Afterwards, the User shall follow the instructions given by the staff member and park in the designated space number. (3) Parking fees shall be paid at the pre-payment machine or at the 1F exit gate.
Chapter 3 Parking Fees
(Fees) Article 13 Members who use this reservation service shall pay 2,800 JPY for private compartment parking and 1,400 JPY for general parking as a reservation fee. The reservation fee shall be paid together with the parking fees after using this reservation service. Parking fees for reservation (includes consumption tax) 【Parking fees for general parking reservations】 Parking fees for general parking + 1,400 JPY 【Parking fees for private compartment parking reservations】 Parking fees for private compartment parking + 2,800 JPY 【Parking fees for disabled parking reservations】 Half the price of the general parking reservation fees.
Chapter 4 Discontinuance of Use or Provision of Service
(Discontinuance of the Member's Use of the Service) Article 14 The Manager may discontinue the Member's use of the service without prior notice or warning for any of the following reasons: (1) The Member violates these Terms; (2) The Member provides false registration information to the Manager; or (3) Any other actions that the Manager deems inappropriate. (Temporary Suspension of Service) Article 15 The Manager may suspend the operation of this parking reservation service and inform members via the website in any of the following cases. Notice may be omitted in unavoidable, urgent cases. The Manager accepts no responsibility, regardless of the reason, for any damages to the Member or a third party. (1) Periodic or urgent system maintenance or construction; (2) Unavoidable damage to the system; (3) If it becomes impossible to provide the service due to an earthquake, fire, power outage, flood, tsunami, volcanic eruption, rebellion, riot, war, or any other emergency situation; or (4) If the Manager judges it as unavoidable for any other reason. (Discontinuance of Provision of Service) Article 16 The Manager may, if required by circumstances in the course of doing business, discontinue all or part of the parking reservation service. 2. When discontinuing the parking reservation service according to the preceding paragraph, the Manager shall post prior notice of this on the website. However, notice may be omitted in unavoidable, urgent cases. 3. The Manager accepts no responsibility for any damages to the Member or another person caused by discontinuing the parking reservation service. (Protection of Personal Information) Article 17 Regarding information provided by the Member for registration and parking reservations during the operation of this service, the Manager shall handle personal information (as defined in Article 2 (1) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information) in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the related laws and ordinances.
Chapter 5 Exemptions and Moving of Vehicles
(Exemptions) Article 18 The Manager accepts no responsibility for damages to the Member resulting from reservation data being lost due to equipment failure. 2. The Manager assumes no responsibility for damages caused by inputting errors made by the Member at the time of the member registration or the reservation. 3. The responsibility of the Manager to the Member is limited to operating the service with the care of a good manager so that the Member can use the service without difficulty. The Manager accepts absolutely no responsibility for any damages to the Member caused by use of the service (including damages caused by trouble between the Member and another person), or damages to the Member or another person caused by being unable to use all or part of the service, except as otherwise specified in these Terms.) (Moving of Vehicles) Article 19 If the Member's vehicle remains parked after the reservation period has ended (excluding cases in which prior notice has been given and the Manager is in agreement), the Manager may move the vehicle outside of the reserved space to allow the next vehicle to enter.
Chapter 6 Miscellaneous
(Copyright) Article 20 The copyright and other intellectual property rights related to the parking reservation service provided by the Manager belongs to the Manager. (Court of Jurisdiction) Article 21 If problems arise between the Member and the Manager related to the parking reservation service, they shall be discussed in good faith together with the persons concerned. 2. The Tokyo District Court shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes between the Member and the Manager. (Matters not Specified in these Terms) Article 22 Matters not specified in these Terms shall be handled according to the relevant Japanese laws and ordinances. Supplementary Provisions These Terms are effective from April 1, 2014.
